What makes someone a Laker?

You don’t have to be born here, and you don’t need a boat. A Laker is anyone who feels the pull of our freshwater coast. You know the difference between the lakes in July and the lakes in January, and you respect both. You plan your weekends around the shoreline, the trails, and the first great snow. You’d rather be outside, feeling the seasons change as they happen. And when the day’s done, you want great food and great people around one table.
